Whatever happened to catching up with the girls for a day or night out!

 

In my 20's it was motivated by going out with my girlfriends to find a boyfriend.

In my 30's it was a joint venture with the boyfriends and the girlfriends and because we were all grown up we'd do the couple thing!
 
Then when you became single again you would still hang out with the couples;hoping you wouldn't have to wait long to find Mr.Right so you wouldn't feel so damned uncomfortable and out of place.



In hindsight, it would now seem I should have invested more time for with my single girlfriends and when I was in a couple, done both the couple and girl only socialising.

There seems to be a whole section of my life where I inadvertently got so wrapped up in the boys that I forgot my girlfriends.
